Just remember that some manufacturing processes are more cost-effective than others when ordering in extremely low or high quantities.

For one-off prototypes, 3D printing or CNC machining will almost certainly be a more cost-effective option than injection molding. This is because neither 3D printing nor CNC machining requires expensive tooling (molds) to create parts.

If budget is your only concern, 3D printing is likely your best option for a single part. If quality and budget are equal factors, you may prefer CNC machining.
