Can you make my order cheaper?
Our quotations are calculated based on material and labor costs and are therefore non-negotiable.
If you have requested a quotation for several parts, your quotation will be broken down into total cost and cost per part, giving you a clear picture of the cost of individual operations.
Although our prices are non-negotiable, your cost-per-unit may be significantly cheaper if you order in larger quantities.
Remember that some manufacturing processes, such as 3D printing and CNC machining, have a near-stable cost-per-unit, while two-step processes like injection molding have a much lower cost-per-unit in large quantities.
For example, an order of 10,000 molded parts with be far cheaper than an order of 10,000 machined parts.
On the other hand, the setup costs of injection molding are much higher than those of CNC machining, 3D printing and sheet metal fabrication, which means that the latter three processes may be much more affordable in small quantities.
For example, an order of 10 machined parts will be cheaper than an order of 10 molded parts, since injection molding requires the creation of tooling.
